Emily Taheny
Emily Taheny is an Australian comedian, actress, and singer. She is known for her multiple appearances on the sketch comedy television series Comedy Inc. from 2003 through 2007, her role as “Kat” on the 2009 series The Jesters, and as a regular cast member on long-running satirical news program Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell.
Bridget a’Beckett
Bridget is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter, known for bringing both technical skill and creative instinct to a wide range of projects. She performs violin, piano and vocals and loves to try her hand at new instruments, the most recent challenge being the accordion. She also musically directs and composes for new and existing work, moving happily between performing, writing and leading.
Craig Kelly
Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist, specialising in electric and double bass, with additional skills on mandolin, guitar and vocals. He has toured Australia, Europe and the USA, performing with Bill Chambers, Neil Murray, Tracy McNeil, Henry Wagons, Rich Davies and The Low Road. He has also performed at most major Australian festivals, including Tamworth Country Music Festival and Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Roz Girvan
Roz Girvan is a Melbourne-based songwriter with a long-standing presence in the city’s roots music scene. She performs both as an Americana duo with her partner, fiddle and mandolin player Greg Field, and with her guitarist, mandolin playing son Roy Girvan.
Roz has graced stages such as the Brunswick Ballroom, Caravan Music Club, and Northcote Social Club, and has shared performances with artists including Vika & Linda Bull, Rebecca Barnard, Suzannah Espie and Gallie. She has also appeared at the renowned Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Her songwriting was recognised by Brian Wise of 3RRR, who selected her work for inclusion on a Melbourne sampler showcased at the Americana Festival in Nashville. Songs from her albums (East, Ordinary Heart and Pearls Before Swine (with band High Horses) have been played on both ABC Radio and community radio throughout the country. She has performed live on ABC Radio Melbourne, 3RRR and 3PBS.
Greg Field
Greg Field is a versatile Melbourne musician whose expressive playing spans violin, mandolin, guitar and piano. Equally at home on stage or in the studio, he has performed with The Cartridge Family, The Stetson Family, Van Walker, Stephen Pigram, Roz Girvan and Little John, and worked as a session musician for producers Kerryn Tolhurst and Ernie Rose. He has also performed at festivals throughout Australia.
Ben Franz
With a career spanning more than three decades, this Melbourne-based musician has toured extensively with ARIA Award-winning The Waifs across Australia, the USA, UK, Canada and Ireland. A multi-instrumentalist, producer and session musician, his specialties include electric and double bass, pedal and lap steel, and electric and acoustic guitar. He has also worked with Lucky Oceans, Tim Rogers and Mick Thomas.
